Celebrating the Wild Heart of Wholeness

First Day 2/25

Rebekah Dawn

The waxing moon lifted up by still naked tree branches on the north/east

the setting sun sinking into the branches on the south/west

sitting with the moon on my face and the sun on my back

listening to all the winter waters

thawing

percolating

gurgling

whispering

below the roots

feet bare on the almost frozen ground

kiss the ground for the first time in many weeks

how changeable each moment is

a bird sings

the first frog clears its throat of torpor
